Nothing to say

I have nothing new to say today, but to stay true to the cartoon from my previous post I decided to post anyway.
How about we go with a good picture or two.
Here is one of a smart dog.

I'd let the skunk eat my food too.

.

And....

There, another post to make you smile.
And I thought I didn't have anything to say.

2000 Visitors!

My blog hit 2000 visitors yesterday! Hooray!
That means people like me. (Or else that I check my own blog waay too much).
I think that is not bad since I have only been blogging since just before Christmas.
So thank you to all of my loyal viewers, everyone who finds me on accident and all those (there have to be at least 50), who found my blog while google searching for Thomas S. Monson and the Utah Jazz.
You reinforce me.
(Now if I could just get my visitors to comment more).

Brain Teasers

1. What is the next letter in this series?
O T T F F S S E N ?
.
2. Divide 100 by ½ and add 10.
What do you have?
.
The first one is not as hard as you think, the second is not quite as simple as you think.

Let's go to Mars!

Richard Branson, eccentric billionaire, had the best April fools joke of the year when he posted online that VirGle (Virgin/Google) was planning to colonize Mars and looking for volunteers for the trip.
Here is the link to the site. >>VirGle Colonizes Mars<< If you have a few extra minutes and need a laugh it is worth your time.
For anyone that didn't catch on to the April Fools joke on the first page, the quiz to volunteer should have caught people's attention.
With questions like:
I consider creature comforts like designer clothing and satellite TV with DVR service:
a. Utterly essential.
b. Utterly pointless.
c. Utterly essential if I'm going to spend the rest of my life stuck here on Earth anyway, but utterly pointless if (hint, hint) you all decide to send me on the Adventure of Many Lifetimes™.
d. Does the satellite service include Showtime, because I am soooo into Weeds.
and
I would characterize my overall level of physical fitness as:
a. Great. I'm totally buff.
b. Good. I can do the stationary bike roughly as long as it take to watch a Talk Radio rerun on my gym's cable system.
c. Okay. I could probably do a few crunches if you really insisted.
d. Poor. The mere sight of a treadmill gives me chest pains and a weird tingling feeling in my extremities.
.
But the best part, at least to me, was the videos applicants were asked to submit in order to be considered for the Adventure of Many Lifetimes.
I will include a few of my favorites.

I don't know why that made me laugh so much.

But I hope you enjoyed it too.

Nothing like wasting time online, huh?

The Playoffs are coming, the playoffs are coming!

The Jazz have only 7 games left until the playoffs start.
They play the Timberwolves tonight and completely demolished the Wizards 129-87 in their last game. They hit a franchise high 15 three pointers and sent the Wizards home to DC with their worst loss of the season.
(Mwahahaa! Hear me cackle as they go).
Coach Jerry Sloan got some well deserved love as he was named Western Conference Coach of the Month for March.
That's great, and he deserves it, but until he gets Coach of the year I will continue to lose respect for those unknown NBA administrators who continue to pass him over for higher profile, lower class coaches year after year.
For now I will keep hoping that when Thomas S. Monson stopped to talk to the team at last week's game he gave them the blessing they needed to break through and bring it all home.
All, including a title and a Coach of the Year for Jerry.
Go Jazz!
(Do you know I had a hard time finding a good picture of Jerry Sloan with his mouth closed?)

The Scotsman's Kilt, WoW version

What happens when you take a Scottish folksong with an entertaining plotline and cross it with the tremendously popular online video game, World of Warcraft?

Answer: You get this video.

If you play WoW at all this video is even more fun, just for the sake of gameplay recognition.

But if you don't, you'll enjoy it anyway.

My family loves World of Warcraft and we all play. In fact, we very often play together and make it a family activity. It has actually been a bonding experience.

I allready have a copy of this song, know it well, and dream of one day standing on a bar and belting it out to the great applause and entertained surprise of the tavern customers.

But until then, I will just share it with you.

My WoW main character Stellarina is a tailor and can actually make the "colorful kilt" that the scotsman is wearing. Provided I have enough linen cloth, collected from dead humanoids, turned into bolts of linen cloth, coarse thread and dye bought from a vendor, of course.

I'm afraid I may have just lost 3 of my 4 readers.

Free money

I found a website that actually offers real money.
I know, I know, these pop up a million times and offer money and prizes but never really pay up, but I swear this one does.
