I got an e-mail the other day that had a great sanity test.
Based on my stress level of late I am surprised that I got the right answer.
Let's see how you do.
.
In one mental ward (according to the e-mail), they give new patients this test to determine their level of need.
They fill up a bathtub, then give the patient a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket and tell the patient to empty the bathtub.
.
Which would you pick?

I pick the drain.

I pick conniing someone else to do it.
Until I slowed down and read the test more thoroughly I was about to choose the bucket. But if I want to empty the tub rather than fill it I would probably pull the plug.

Oh, good, I'm glad I got that one right! I was worried for a minute when I started to consider the bucket and then thought better of it and picked the drain.
Boy, I feel stupid. I never even considered the drain:( I was actually wondering if the water was hot, and if there were bubbles, in which case I thought maybe I would use the teaspoon. Slowly. While I sat in the tub. But then, it's been one of those kinds of weeks.
I chose to leave the water in the bathtub. Shut the door. Add some bubbles and sit in it for about an hour.
I would pull the plug.--Liz
Hope this tub is hooked up to the sewer, cause I would pull the plug too.

I would probably leave the water alone until Friday when the sewer is hooked up again, then pull the plug out.
