Della's Music Challenge *prize!

My brother Mike did a cool thing over on our family blog, that I decided to replicate.
This is my Music Challenge.
.
Here is the deal, I put my Iphone on shuffle and wrote down the first lines of the first 25 songs that came on.
You guess the title and artist of the song.
I will update the list when the correct answers are guessed with the answers and the name of who guessed them.
Only the first person to guess the correct answer will get credit.
One point will be given for the title of the song, and one for the artist. Whoever gets the most points will win (ta da) a $10 Walmart Gift Card!

Is there a prize for not knowing any of them?

Della Hill said...

Perhaps a consolation prize, at the request of the loser, could be a compilation cd of some of these songs.
Thanks for playing.

I'm with Alice. I think I must live on a different planet. But many of the answerers are my children. How did this happen? Mom

13. I walk the line by Johnny Cash

14. Nothing to fear. Oingo Boingo

I got here too late to get more. Curse you Drew and your closer time zone to Della than mine.

Mike-
I had figured that you would do pretty well with this.
Not that you will get points for it, but I am interested in how many of these you would have known had Carrie and Drew not beaten you to them.
I was pretty sure you were going to be the one to get #15.

#6 is Jump around by House of Pain. I'm frankly shocked I could get any of them. I'm also very impressed that I'm not the only one who listens to veggie tales songs when my kids aren't around. I hear them in my sleep, it's sad really.

Della, I knew #2, the group from # 4, # 10, 11 is Time by Pink Floyd (not sure how I missed it the first time through),#11, #12, #15, #23, and #25. That's all I have so far.

On a side note, although I do feel a ceratin kinship with Larry, I do not have any Veggie Tales in my music library. My kids ont he other hand could listen to VT all day.
