Well, our economy is doing a tailspin into a recession.
One of two knuckleheads is going to get elected as president and neither one knows what the heck to do about it.
(Joe the plumber? Are you kidding me?)
Our educational system is falling behind the world in every area.
Wildfires are raging in Southern California,
But guess what?
Gas prices are going down!
Under 3$ a gallon! Woo hoo!
I have seen it as low as $2.75! Yes Way!
It literally only cost me 50 bucks to fill up my tank.
(I've been paying 70-80$).
And through it all, the concept does not escape me that I am celebrating a gas price of $2.92 per gallon.
That is still rediculous.
/Sigh.

I completely agree with you. I watched the debate last night and fell asleep. My profession is driven by the financial market and while we are not swimming in projects, I am busy. Phil got laid off two weeks ago, so it is a scary time.

This morning as I left for work it was $2.69 in our little town. While I think that it is still ridiculous as well, I thank God that it is coming down and ask him to moderate it to a level that is fair to everyone, since no mere mortal seems to have a clue as to how to effect this change. -- Drew

I watched the debate and am so unimpressed with either side.
No one has good answers. All either has is criticisms of the other.
I am sorry to hear about Phil. I hope he finds something soon.

I'm happy that is down to 3.23 here. I might not max out at the pump. they usually stop at 100$ and i have to re swipe my card.
ohhh so sadly true. Jordan and I watched it last night and were pretty unimpressed as well. on a positive note... hey, were both "celebrating" the same gas prices! yay for Virginians :)
It does not matter who gets in office we are in for a ride. The best we can hope for is we have some intelligent legislators to keep them (both) from fulfilling their responsibility too heavily once they are in office.
We are glad to be paying less than $4 also.
I do not understand why Utah gas is so high compared to nationally since we have oil provided from nearby and have refineries.
It is about time for a new method of transportation or an energy source.
But for now, take the time to enjoy what you have.
