We're ba-ack!

This is me at the Metro station getting ready to go into downtown DC. We stayed in Old Town Alexandria, which is about 20 minutes away from downtown. The Metro station is about 100 yards from our hotel, so it's super easy to ride it almost anywhere we want to go.

This was taken from the King Street Metro station. This station is elevated. As it gets closer to downtown it goes underground.

Our hotel is just out of sight to the left.

As you can see, it was very wet and rainy all day. We had fun anyway.

This is the big arch in China Town. It is one block away from the Verizon Center where the Wizards suffered an embarrassing defeat to the Utah Jazz this last Friday. It was the Jazz' 8th win in a row.

The Metro comes up right underneath the Verizon Center.
